What is Cancer Challenge?

Bellow is a brief summary of the event. Click here for more detailed information including the required forms.

The game will start at 6pm on the Friday evening and continue until 8pm on the Saturday - then the after game party will begin. We’re playing on a floodlit outdoor pitch at Hatfield Waterpark, Doncaster - home of the BCU Canoe Polo Club Championships. We hope to hold other canoeing events alongside. Camping is available on site.

All canoeists can take part; you can be a polo superstar or a polo virgin so long as you can stay upright (most of the time) and know one end of a paddle from another. You can come on your own or your whole team can come along. You don’t need to have your own polo equipment as you can borrow some of ours, or if you can’t be parted from your own polo boat you’re welcome to bring it along.

Cancer Challenge Canoe Polo is one continuous game so there are only two teams with players being continually subbed on and off. Just before the event we’ll let everyone who has registered know at what time they’ll be playing, although there will be a few spaces left if you want to register on the day. We’ll try our best, although we’re not promising, to have similar abilities on the pitch at the same time.
